Alchemy's 22,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art Data Center is located in a Telco grade facility in downtown Los Angeles – the hub of telecommunications and Internet connectivity. Housed in the prestigious Wells Fargo Bank Building, this multi-million dollar facility is seismically designed to withstand most natural disasters - including an earthquake of 8.3 in magnitude. The spacious facility features raised floors, state-of-the-art fiber optics and a redundant self contained cooling system. With 4,000 amps of battery backup, and four 1.5-megawatt turbo-charged generators, the facility can be separated from city water and power services and still remain fully operational for up to 28 days - the backup generators alone could power a city of 20,000 people.

The building is equipped with three 1,000-ton & two 500-ton centrifugal chillers with four 1,500-ton cooling towers cells, and two 250-ton heat pumps - one 1,000-ton chiller can cool the entire building on a 90-degree day. The building is equipped with a “Honeywell” W940 fire monitoring and reporting system located on the Plaza level. Of the 238,000 gallons of water in the cooling towers, 168,000 gallons can be used for the fire pumps.

The facility is staffed with a 24x7 technical support team, secured access, onsite security personnel, and video camera surveillance - all designed to bring a greater sense of ease and security to our clients.

Located on the roof of the building, the building’s heliport is licensed for up to 29 landings per day. Helicopter service is contracted with Helinet. The facility has access to a 400-seat cafeteria that is open from 5AM to 8PM, a fitness center, complete with aerobics classes and nautilus equipment, as well as office and conference room space which is available on a first come first serve basis. Complimentary parking is also available.
